Bhuvaneśī (Nidrā-Śakti) Mantra-vidhi, Nyāsa–Āvaraṇa Worship, Padma-homa Prayogas, and the Opening of Śrī-Mahālakṣmī Upāsanā
Narada (teaching mantra-lakṣaṇa within Vedāṅga-oriented ritual/technical instruction)
Vrata: none
Primary Rasa: shanta
Secondary Rasa: none
It formalizes the mantra’s inner “identity” (ṛṣi, chandas, devatā), teaching that effective japa is aligned with its revealed source (Śakti), its vibrational form (Gāyatrī meter), and its presiding consciousness (Bhuvaneśvarī).
By naming Bhuvaneśvarī as the devatā, it directs devotion toward the Goddess as the living focus of the mantra—bhakti becomes concentrated worship through correct mantra-knowledge rather than mere repetition.
Chandas (Vedic prosody) is explicit: the verse assigns the Gāyatrī meter, a key technical requirement used in mantra-recitation, nyāsa, and ritual correctness in Narada Purana’s mantra-vidhi sections.
