Au centre du cœur du lotus, qu’on trace un hexagone d’une beauté exquise. Puis qu’on vénère comme il se doit le pīṭha, le siège sacré pourvu des neuf Śaktis.
Sanatkumara (in instruction to Narada)
Vrata: none
Primary Rasa: shanta
Secondary Rasa: adbhuta
It teaches that worship should be grounded in a correctly formed sacred diagram (yantra): the ṣaṭkoṇa placed in the lotus-center becomes the ordered “seat” where divine power is invoked and honored as the nine Śaktis.
Bhakti here takes a disciplined ritual form: devotion is expressed through careful preparation (drawing the yantra) and reverent pīṭha-pūjā, treating the divine presence as truly established and worthy of complete worship.
It highlights technical ritual procedure—yantra-lekhana (diagram drawing) and pīṭha-pūjā sequencing—reflecting the applied, rule-based side of Vedic practice used in mantra-upāsanā.
