FAQs

It presents an ideal principle—gentle, beneficent, and ego-free—that pervades all embodied categories, implying that true auspiciousness is universal and not limited by species or form.

By emphasizing freedom from bhava (worldly becoming) and ahaṃkāra (ego), it points to the inner purification that makes devotion fruitful—bhakti becomes ‘sarva-kāmaduhā’ when offered without egoistic ownership.

It reflects a technical, enumerative mode common to Vedanga-style discourse—classifying beings by ‘pāda’ (feet) to systematize knowledge useful for dharmic reflection and ritual-world understanding.
