FAQs

It presents a cluster of divine epithets that function as a stotra-like remembrance: meditating on the Lord as truthful, worship-worthy, beneficent, and victorious is itself a bhakti practice that purifies intention and strengthens dharma.

Bhakti here is expressed through nāma-smaraṇa (remembering names): the devotee contemplates the Lord’s qualities—truth, protection, victory over demonic forces—and cultivates surrender and reverence through recitation.

The verse supports a Vedanga-adjacent practice of precise recitation and memorization (linked with Śikṣā and Vyākaraṇa in how names are preserved and pronounced), useful for stotra/namāvali-based worship and ritual chanting.
