The Exposition of the Krishna Mantra (Kṛṣṇa-mantra-prakāśa): Nyāsa, Dhyāna, Worship, Yantra, and Prayoga
Narada (narration within the chapter’s instructional flow)
Vrata: none
Primary Rasa: adbhuta
Secondary Rasa: bhakti
It highlights the Lord’s ordered cosmic administration—devotees and divine attendants are appointed to specific functions, with Garuḍa placed foremost as a powerful protector and emblem of Viṣṇu’s presence.
By naming Viṣṇu’s close associates (like Viṣvaksena and Garuḍa), the verse encourages bhakti through remembrance (smaraṇa) of the Lord together with His parivāra (retinue), a common Purāṇic devotional practice.
The verse reflects an anukramaṇikā-like, technical listing (useful for memorization and recitation), aligning with Vedāṅga concerns such as chandas/recitational organization rather than prescribing a specific ritual rule.
