The Account of Hanumān
आवाहनादीनुपचारांरतथापि कृत्वा स्नानं पूर्ववच्छंकरस्य । औदुंबरं राजतं स्वर्णपीठं वस्त्रादिच्छन्नं सर्वमेवेह पीठम् ॥ ४५ ॥
āvāhanādīnupacārāṃratathāpi kṛtvā snānaṃ pūrvavacchaṃkarasya | auduṃbaraṃ rājataṃ svarṇapīṭhaṃ vastrādicchannaṃ sarvameveha pīṭham || 45 ||
Même après avoir accompli les services rituels commençant par l’invocation (āvāhana) et les autres attentions, on doit ensuite baigner Śaṅkara selon la règle enseignée auparavant. Ici, le siège sacré (pīṭha) sera en bois d’udumbara, ou en argent, ou en or, entièrement recouvert de tissus et d’ornements semblables.
