The Account of Hanumān
Narada (narrating within the Narada Purana dialogue tradition)
Vrata: none
Primary Rasa: bhakti
Secondary Rasa: adbhuta
It presents liṅga-pratiṣṭhā (installation) and sampūjā (complete worship) as acts that sacralize a place—turning Tryambaka mountain into a living tirtha through sustained devotion and residence.
Bhakti here is expressed as reverent service: installing the liṅga, performing thorough worship, and remaining in the sacred presence—showing devotion as sustained practice rather than a momentary act.
The verse implies ritual procedure (kalpa/ācāra): proper installation (pratiṣṭhā) and complete worship (sampūjā), which in practice depends on correct mantra use and ritual sequencing taught in Vedic ritual science.
