Quand, dans tous les sacrifices, les oblations sont offertes, quel mantra donc répéteras-tu ? Nous tous, les mains jointes en vénération, ne rendons culte qu’à toi, l’Unique.
Sanatkumara (addressing Nārada in a dialogic teaching context)
Vrata: none
Primary Rasa: bhakti
Secondary Rasa: vira
It elevates inner devotion over mere ritual performance: even amid sacrificial acts, the essential spiritual act is single-pointed worship of the One worthy of adoration.
By depicting worship with joined palms and exclusive upāsanā (“you alone”), it presents bhakti as focused surrender—making the divine the sole object of remembrance and reverence.
It implicitly points to correct ritual recitation and application of mantra-japa within yajña practice—linking outward offerings (homa) with inward repetition (japa) as complementary disciplines.
