Nyāsa, Yantra, Homa, and Dīpa-Vrata
Narada
Vrata: Dīpa-pradāna (lamp-offering observance)
Primary Rasa: shanta
Secondary Rasa: bhakti
It teaches that transitional ritual moments—like lighting a lamp—should be protected by purity of speech, because words shape the mind and the ritual atmosphere; auspicious sights (like a learned brāhmaṇa) are recommended to stabilize sattva and invite śubha (good fortune).
By emphasizing careful speech and auspicious remembrance at the start of worshipful acts (such as lighting a lamp), it supports bhakti as a disciplined daily practice where the devotee cultivates purity and reverence before approaching the Divine.
It reflects Śikṣā and ritual discipline: attention to proper timing (kāla), conduct (ācāra), and speech-restraint as part of maintaining auspiciousness in daily rites—an applied, technical aspect of Vedic practice.
