Là, après avoir invoqué le Seigneur des rois, le sage doit L’adorer comme auparavant. Puis, prenant des grains de riz humectés d’eau (akṣata), qu’il établisse la résolution rituelle (saṅkalpa) pour la lampe.
Narada
Vrata: none
Primary Rasa: bhakti
Secondary Rasa: shanta
It teaches that worship begins with āvāhana (invocation) and proceeds with orderly pūjā, culminating in a conscious saṅkalpa—so the act of offering a lamp becomes a deliberate devotional rite rather than a mere gesture.
Bhakti here is expressed through attentive, reverent service: inviting the Lord, honoring Him “as before” (following the established method), and offering light with a clear intention—devotion guided by discipline.
Ritual praxis: the use of akṣata with water and the performance of saṅkalpa are core procedural elements of pūjā/vrata, reflecting technical competence in traditional ceremonial method.
