En présence de Gaṇeśa, on se souvient de la destruction des obstacles et des grandes calamités ; et dans la crainte terrible née du poison et de la maladie, on se rappelle la présence protectrice de Hanūmān.

Primary Rasa: shanta
Secondary Rasa: bhayanaka
It teaches a practical dhārmic principle: specific divine “sannidhi” (protective proximity invoked by remembrance) is prescribed according to the nature of the संकट (crisis)—Gaṇeśa for obstacles and major impediments, Hanumān for severe fears like poison and disease.
Bhakti here is expressed as smṛti—devotional recollection and reliance on the deity’s grace in concrete life situations, turning fear and obstruction into occasions for focused devotion and surrender.
It reflects applied religious practice: using smṛti and deity-invocation as a remedial measure (prayoga) aligned to specific afflictions—an example of technical, pragmatic instruction characteristic of Book 1.3’s Vedāṅga-oriented material.
