FAQs

It explains the purposeful naming of a mantra/epithet: its very designation—“cutter of all enemies”—signals a protective and obstacle-removing spiritual efficacy.

By implying that recitation with faith yields protection, it supports bhakti as a practical refuge—devotional remembrance that removes inner and outer opposition to dharma.

It reflects a Vedanga-style principle of technical interpretation: understanding a mantra/name through its etymological force (nāma/śabda-arthas) and applying it in ritual or protective recitation.
