Tout autour, la danse s’était mise en mouvement ; l’air retentissait de cris de victoire et de paroles de bon augure, et le lieu était richement embaumé de santal, d’agaru, de musc, de camphre et d’autres parfums.
Narada (narrating within the Sanatkumara dialogue context)
Vrata: none
Primary Rasa: adbhuta
Secondary Rasa: bhakti
It depicts a sanctified celebratory setting where auspicious speech (maṅgala) and sacred fragrance support a devotional, ritually pure atmosphere for worship and praise.
By highlighting dance, victory-cries, and auspicious utterances, the verse points to embodied devotion—bhakti expressed through communal kīrtana-like celebration and honoring the sacred with pleasing offerings.
It reflects ritual praxis (kalpa-oriented conduct): creating maṅgala conditions through proper auspicious recitations and the use of fragrant substances commonly prescribed for pūjā and sacred assemblies.
