Sanatkumara (teaching Narada)
Vrata: none
Primary Rasa: bhakti
Secondary Rasa: shanta
It codifies a complete sādhanā sequence—upacāra (offering), japa (fixed repetition), and homa (confirming oblations)—showing that inner practice is sealed by disciplined ritual action.
Bhakti here is expressed as reverent, methodical worship: offering food with care, repeating the mantra with commitment, and concluding with ghee-offerings—devotion embodied through prescribed sacred acts.
It highlights ritual calculation and procedure—especially the rule of performing homa as one-tenth of the japa count (daśāṃśa), a standard prayoga principle used in mantra-sādhanā.
