En offrant des oblations avec les fleurs de sevantī, on obtient une grande prospérité ; et en accomplissant le homa avec des bûchettes d’audumbara, on devient riche en grains et en récoltes.
Sanatkumara (teaching Narada in a technical-ritual context)
Vrata: none
Primary Rasa: shanta
Secondary Rasa: bhakti
It teaches the Narada Purana’s dravya–phala principle: specific ritual substances used in homa are said to yield correspondingly specific results—here, prosperity (śrī) and agricultural abundance (dhānya).
While primarily ritual-technical, it supports bhakti in practice by prescribing offerings that cultivate auspiciousness and well-being, enabling a stable, dharmic life in which devotion and worship can be sustained.
It reflects kalpa/ritual science: selecting proper offerings (flowers, samidh) for homa and understanding their stated phala (results), a key practical layer of Vedic ritual procedure.
