Narada (instructional recitation guidance within the Vedanga/technical section)
Vrata: none
Primary Rasa: shanta
Secondary Rasa: adbhuta
It teaches disciplined, accurate utterance of divine epithets—showing that reverence is expressed not only by devotion but also by precision in sacred speech used in ritual and praise.
Bhakti here is practiced as careful nāma–stuti: the devotee honors Vishnu’s cosmic forms (“thousand-faced/eyed/footed”) by reciting the names in their proper sequence, treating sound as a sacred offering.
Śikṣā (phonetics/recitation) and allied mantra-prayoga: it gives a rule for how specific compounds/epithets should be appended and pronounced in sequence during chanting.
