Sanatkumara (in instruction to Narada on Vishnu-arcana procedure)
Vrata: none
Primary Rasa: bhakti
Secondary Rasa: vira
It teaches that Viṣṇu-worship is performed with reverence to the cosmic order: the surrounding deities and their powers are honored first as protective “āvaraṇas,” culminating in devotion to the imperishable Viṣṇu at the center.
Bhakti here is expressed as disciplined arcana: methodical, respectful worship of attendant deities and ritual enclosures, leading the mind to single-pointed adoration of Viṣṇu as the ultimate refuge.
It reflects kalpa-style ritual organization (a Vedāṅga application): setting up a dharaṇī-gṛha/mandala, assigning āvaraṇa-devatās, and performing sequential pūjā as a precise liturgical procedure.
