Mahāviṣṇu-Mantras: Aṣṭākṣarī, Sudarśana-Astra, Nyāsa Systems, Āvaraṇa-Pūjā, and Prayogas
Sanatkumara (teaching Narada in the Moksha/Upasana instruction flow)
Vrata: none
Primary Rasa: bhakti
Secondary Rasa: shanta
It links measurable mantra-japa discipline with inner transformation—first steadiness of mind in Viṣṇu, then the higher fruit of sārūpya (attaining likeness to the Lord), presenting a graded path of spiritual maturation.
Bhakti is shown as sustained upāsanā: repeated remembrance through japa stabilizes devotion (sthirā mati) and culminates in intimate proximity to the divine nature, expressed as sārūpya with Viṣṇu.
The verse emphasizes procedural sādhanā-precision—counted japa as a technical discipline (often supported by śikṣā for correct recitation and vyākaraṇa for accurate mantra form), where correctness and consistency are treated as spiritually consequential.
