Mahāviṣṇu-Mantras: Aṣṭākṣarī, Sudarśana-Astra, Nyāsa Systems, Āvaraṇa-Pūjā, and Prayogas
Sanatkumara (teaching Narada the prayoga/dhyana method)
Vrata: none
Primary Rasa: vira
Secondary Rasa: shanta
It emphasizes mantra-sādhana joined with focused dhyāna as a means to calm major disturbances (mahopadrava-śānti) and stabilize the practitioner’s life through disciplined ritual concentration.
While framed as a technical prayoga, it still relies on steady contemplation (sadā dhyāna) of a luminous divine form; such one-pointed remembrance parallels bhakti’s core discipline of continuous inner fixation on the chosen form.
It reflects ritual-technical procedure (kalpa/prayoga) involving a vahni-maṇḍala (fire-circle) and prescribed visualization—typical of the Narada Purana’s Book 1.3 focus on applied sacred sciences and ritual method.
