Narada Purana — Purva Bhaga, Shloka 40

Gaṇeśa Mantra-vidhi: Mahāgaṇapati Gāyatrī, Vakratuṇḍa Mantra, Nyāsa, Homa, Āvaraṇa-pūjā, and Caturthī Vrata

अन्नाप्तिरन्नहोमेन समिद्भिर्वेतसां जलम् । वासांसि लभते हुत्वा कुसुंभकुसुमैः शुभैः ॥ ४० ॥

annāptirannahomena samidbhirvetasāṃ jalam | vāsāṃsi labhate hutvā kusuṃbhakusumaiḥ śubhaiḥ || 40 ||

Par l’oblation de nourriture dans le feu (anna-homa), on obtient la nourriture; par l’offrande de brindilles de vetasa (saule) comme samidh, on obtient l’eau; et en offrant les fleurs auspicious de kusumbha (carthame), on reçoit des vêtements.
