Narada (teaching in a technical-ritual context, within the Narada Purana’s Vedanga/ritual science section)
Vrata: none
Primary Rasa: bhakti
Secondary Rasa: shanta
It emphasizes that correct ritual form (mudrā) should be joined with inner remembrance (smaraṇa) of the deity, making worship both technically proper and devotionally alive.
Bhakti is highlighted through “devatāṃ smaran”—the act of mentally remembering the deity while offering flowers, fragrance, and other upacāras, showing that devotion is the core that animates external worship.
It reflects applied ritual science—how specific mudrās are classified as “principal” and how they are used alongside standard pūjā offerings (gandha, puṣpa, etc.) as part of a precise worship procedure.
