FAQs

It teaches the correct completion of a mantra-based rite: humility (bowing), devotion (remembering the mantra), offering (flower añjali), purification (bathing after recovery), and gratitude with proper closure (taking leave of the guru).

Bhakti is expressed through reverence and surrender—bowing before and after the rite, making an offering with remembrance of the mantra, and honoring the guru as the channel of sacred knowledge.

It reflects prayoga-vidhi (applied ritual procedure) and shauca/ācāra rules—how to perform an offering, observe purification after illness, and formally conclude the rite with guru-sammati (seeking the teacher’s consent).
