It introduces a structured, shastra-style analysis of human dispositions (lakṣaṇas), implying that discernment and right understanding of nature (svabhāva) supports dharma and reduces conflict in worldly life.
Direct bhakti is not taught in this line; however, by promoting discernment and orderly instruction, it supports a sattvic household and disciplined life that traditionally becomes a stable foundation for Vishnu-bhakti and regular worship.
The verse reflects a technical, classificatory method akin to shastra reasoning—using lakṣaṇa (defining characteristics) and krama (systematic order)—a practical approach often associated with disciplined textual traditions (e.g., vyākaraṇa-style precision and dharma-vyavahāra guidance).
