अन्यथा पतितं विद्यात्कर्त्तापि ब्रह्महा भवेत् । र्मौजी विप्रस्य विज्ञेया धनुर्ज्या क्षत्त्रियस्य तु ॥ १६ ॥
anyathā patitaṃ vidyātkarttāpi brahmahā bhavet | rmaujī viprasya vijñeyā dhanurjyā kṣattriyasya tu || 16 ||
Si l’on agit autrement, à l’encontre de la règle, qu’on sache que cela entraîne une chute hors du dharma ; et l’auteur devient lui aussi coupable comme un meurtrier de brāhmane. La ceinture maujī, faite d’herbe muñja, appartient au brāhmane ; tandis que la corde d’arc est l’emblème convenable du kṣatriya.
