परान्नलोलुपं चैव परस्त्रीनिरतं तथा । व्रतोपवासनिरतो वाङ्मात्रेणापि नार्चयेत् ॥ २८ ॥

parānnalolupaṃ caiva parastrīnirataṃ tathā | vratopavāsanirato vāṅmātreṇāpi nārcayet || 28 ||

On ne doit pas adorer le Seigneur, fût-ce par la seule parole, si l’on convoite la nourriture d’autrui, si l’on s’attache à l’épouse d’un autre, ou si l’on se perd dans vœux et jeûnes sans pureté intérieure.
