Narada Purana — Purva Bhaga, Shloka 36

Jyotiṣa-saṅgraha: Varga-vibhāga, Bala-nirṇaya, Garbha-phala, Āyuḥ-gaṇanā

खगत्र्यंशे बलाग्नेगे चरमांशे ग्रहान्विते । वांशे स्थलांबुजः सौरेर्द्वीक्षायोगभवा द्विजाः ॥ ३६ ॥

khagatryaṃśe balāgnege caramāṃśe grahānvite | vāṃśe sthalāṃbujaḥ saurerdvīkṣāyogabhavā dvijāḥ || 36 ||

Lorsque la troisième division (tryaṃśa) tombe dans le signe Khaga et que la portion ultime est jointe à des planètes, alors—par l’influence de Śauri (Saturne) et la combinaison nommée dvīkṣā‑yoga—naissent des brāhmaṇas dans la lignée (vāṃśa) appelée Sthalāmbuja.
