Narada Purana — Purva Bhaga, Shloka 32

Jyotiṣa-saṅgraha: Varga-vibhāga, Bala-nirṇaya, Garbha-phala, Āyuḥ-gaṇanā

क्लीबे तदूशनाद्वापि चंद्रार्कांशसमं जनुः । स्वांशे पापाः परांशस्थाः सौम्यालग्नं वियोनिजम् ॥ ३२ ॥

klībe tadūśanādvāpi caṃdrārkāṃśasamaṃ januḥ | svāṃśe pāpāḥ parāṃśasthāḥ saumyālagnaṃ viyonijam || 32 ||

Pour celui dont la constitution est klība (neutre ou impuissante), on dit que la naissance survient lorsque les aṁśas, fractions de la Lune et du Soleil, sont égales. Si les planètes maléfiques demeurent dans leurs propres divisions tandis que les bénéfiques tombent dans celles d’autrui, et si l’ascendant est gouverné par un bénéfique, cette naissance est appelée « viyonija », non née du sein.
