Jyotiṣa-saṅgraha: Varga-vibhāga, Bala-nirṇaya, Garbha-phala, Āyuḥ-gaṇanā
लग्नादेकांतरगतैश्चक्रमर्थात्सरित्पतिः । षह्युस्थानेषु वीणाद्याः समसप्तर्क्षगैः ॥ १९१ ॥
lagnādekāṃtaragataiścakramarthātsaritpatiḥ | ṣahyusthāneṣu vīṇādyāḥ samasaptarkṣagaiḥ || 191 ||
Depuis l’Ascendant (Lagna), en les plaçant à intervalles alternés, se forme la « roue » (chakra), ainsi est-il dit. Là est établi le « Seigneur des Rivières » (Sarit-pati) ; et dans les stations nommées « ṣa-hyu », il faut placer la Vīṇā et les autres marques, avec les Sept Ṛṣi (Saptarṣis) disposés de façon égale.
