Narada (teaching Vedic astrology/ Jyotiṣa indications within Mokṣa-dharma context)
Vrata: none
Primary Rasa: shanta
Secondary Rasa: adbhuta
It frames worldly power and fame as outcomes of karmic patterns readable through Vedāṅga Jyotiṣa, reminding the seeker that even royal success is a result (phala) arising from causes, and thus should be guided by dharma rather than ego.
Indirectly: by showing that status and reputation can be predicted as material results, it encourages the devotee to prioritize lasting spiritual aims—devotion to Viṣṇu and dharmic conduct—over temporary fame, even if such fame is attainable.
Vedāṅga Jyotiṣa: interpreting graha-sthiti (planetary placements), lagna (ascendant), rāśi (Libra/Tulā), and bhāva (notably the seventh house) to infer outcomes like rājya (kingship) and kīrti (renown).
