Narada (teaching in a technical, Vedanga-style passage; traditional dialogue context with Sanatkumara line)
Vrata: none
Primary Rasa: bhayanaka
Secondary Rasa: shanta
It frames mortality as a karmically conditioned event, readable through Jyotiṣa indicators, reminding the seeker to prioritize dharma and mokṣa rather than mere prediction.
Though technical, it indirectly supports bhakti by urging detachment from fear of death and turning toward dharma-based living and God-centered practice as the true refuge beyond planetary conditions.
Jyotiṣa Vedāṅga: interpretation of lagna affliction, malefic aspects, kendra placements, and house-based significations (9th dharma, 12th vyaya) to identify mṛtyu-sūcaka (death-signifying) yogas.
