Jyotiṣa-śāstra Saṅgraha: Threefold Division, Gaṇita Methods, Muhūrta, and Planetary Reckoning

समेति गम्याद्वाहुदज्या कोटिज्यानुगता भवेत् । लिप्तास्तत्त्वयमैर्भक्ता लब्धज्यापिंडकं गतम् ॥ ९६ ॥

sameti gamyādvāhudajyā koṭijyānugatā bhavet | liptāstattvayamairbhaktā labdhajyāpiṃḍakaṃ gatam || 96 ||

Lorsque la «gamyā» est obtenue, la «bhujajyā», telle un bras, devient conforme à la «koṭijyā» (cosinus). En divisant selon les mesures vraies prescrites et en l’exprimant en minutes (liptāḥ), on parvient au «jyā-piṇḍa», l’agrégat de la jyā ainsi obtenue.
