Narada Purana — Purva Bhaga, Shloka 90

Vyākaraṇa-saṅgraha: Pada–Vibhakti–Kāraka–Lakāra–Samāsa

कर्ता कारक इत्याद्या भूते भूतादि कीर्तितम् । गम्यादिगम्ये निर्दिष्टं शेषमद्यतने मतम् ॥ ९० ॥

kartā kāraka ityādyā bhūte bhūtādi kīrtitam | gamyādigamye nirdiṣṭaṃ śeṣamadyatane matam || 90 ||

Au temps passé (bhūta), des sens tels que «agent» (kartṛ) et «relation casuelle/kāraka» (kāraka) sont expliqués sous l’intitulé «bhūta», avec les formes qui s’y rattachent. De même, la série commençant par «gamya» est prescrite pour ce qui doit être atteint ou compris. Les formes restantes sont tenues pour relever du présent (adyatana).
