Vyākaraṇa-saṅgraha: Pada–Vibhakti–Kāraka–Lakāra–Samāsa
Sanatkumara (teaching Narada)
Vrata: none
Primary Rasa: shanta
Secondary Rasa: adbhuta
It teaches akartṛ-bhāva (non-doership): the Self is not the real agent; doership is superimposed by ignorance, and seeing this loosens bondage to karma.
By reducing egoic doership, a devotee offers actions to Vishnu without possessiveness—service continues, but the ‘I am the doer’ notion fades, deepening śaraṇāgati (surrender).
No specific Vedanga is taught here; the verse is a moksha-dharma instruction using a common illustrative logic (dṛṣṭānta) to clarify agency rather than a rule of grammar, astrology, or ritual.
