It presents Kapila as a divine manifestation of Viṣṇu whose purpose is to remove moha (world-bewitching delusion), pointing seekers toward liberation (mokṣa) through right knowledge and detachment.
By identifying Kapila with Viṣṇu, the verse frames true teaching as coming from the Lord Himself; devotion to Viṣṇu (and trust in His śāstra-teachings) becomes the means to overcome delusion and steady the mind on the Supreme.
No specific Vedāṅga (like Vyākaraṇa or Jyotiṣa) is taught in this verse; the practical takeaway is philosophical—moha must be destroyed through discernment (viveka) and scriptural guidance, which underlies all disciplined Vedic study.
