तेषां बहुविधास्त्वन्यास्तत्र तत्र द्विजातयः । पिशाचा राक्षसाः प्रेता विविधा म्लेच्छजातयः । सा सृष्टिर्मानसी नाम धर्मतंत्रपरायणा ॥ ६२ ॥
teṣāṃ bahuvidhāstvanyāstatra tatra dvijātayaḥ | piśācā rākṣasāḥ pretā vividhā mlecchajātayaḥ | sā sṛṣṭirmānasī nāma dharmataṃtraparāyaṇā || 62 ||
Parmi eux se trouvent encore bien d’autres sortes d’êtres, apparaissant en divers lieux : des communautés de deux-fois-nés, des piśācas, des rākṣasas, des pretas et diverses lignées mleccha. Cette création est dite “mānasī”, la création « mentale », tournée vers les principes d’ordonnancement du dharma.
