Narada Purana — Purva Bhaga, Shloka 110

Sṛṣṭi-pralaya-kathana: Mahābhūta-guṇāḥ, Vṛkṣa-indriya-vādaḥ, Prāṇa-vāyu-vyavasthā

पक्वाशयस्त्वधो नाभ्या ऊर्ध्वमामाशयः स्मृतः । नाभिमूले शरीरस्य सर्वे प्राणाश्च संस्थिताः ॥ ११० ॥

pakvāśayastvadho nābhyā ūrdhvamāmāśayaḥ smṛtaḥ | nābhimūle śarīrasya sarve prāṇāśca saṃsthitāḥ || 110 ||

On dit que le pakvāśaya, le gros intestin, se trouve au-dessous du nombril, et que l’āmāśaya, l’estomac, est au-dessus. À la racine du nombril dans le corps, tous les prāṇa sont établis.
