It links phala (attainable results) to the highest goal: after experiencing desired worldly fruits, the merit culminates in reaching the Vaiṣṇava dhāma—Viṣṇu’s abode—showing a graded movement from bhoga to mokṣa-oriented attainment.
By naming the final destination as “Vaiṣṇava dhāma,” the verse frames the ultimate outcome as union with/approach to Viṣṇu’s realm, implying that the underlying merit is aligned with Vaiṣṇava devotion and Viṣṇu-centered dharma.
It highlights a technical Puranic-numerical convention (saṁjñā for large counts): “Padma” as a named unit of 55,000—useful for understanding anukramaṇikā-style enumerations and phala-shruti quantifications in Purāṇic literature.
