Sanatkumara (addressing Narada in the instructional dialogue)
Vrata: none
Primary Rasa: bhakti
Secondary Rasa: shanta
It presents the phala (spiritual fruit) of the teaching: it counteracts Kali-yuga’s moral and spiritual decline, supports worldly well-being (saṃpatti), and leads toward comprehensive spiritual understanding (jñāna-prakāśa).
By describing the teaching as a Kali-doṣa remover and universally fulfilling, it aligns with the Purāṇic emphasis that sincere hearing, remembrance, and devotion to Hari/Vishnu is the most accessible remedy in Kali-yuga.
Rather than a specific Vedāṅga (like Vyākaraṇa or Jyotiṣa), the verse stresses a meta-benefit: it “illumines all knowledge,” implying clarity and right understanding that supports dharma, ritual practice, and scriptural study.
