Après avoir accompli l’ācamana, il mangera ensuite lui-même avec ses proches. Ô brāhmaṇa, celui qui accomplit ainsi le śrāddha, la dakṣiṇā étant dûment achevée, rend le rite parfaitement accompli.
Narada (instruction within the Narada Purana’s ritual teaching context)
Vrata: none
Primary Rasa: shanta

It teaches that śrāddha is completed not only by offerings but also by ritual purity (ācamana), proper sequencing, and the fulfillment of dakṣiṇā—ensuring the ancestral rite becomes spiritually effective and “complete.”
While primarily a dharma-ritual instruction, it supports bhakti through reverent, disciplined observance of prescribed duties (niyama) and honoring sacred obligations—devotion expressed as faithful performance of dharma.
Kalpa (ritual procedure) is emphasized: the correct order—purificatory ācamana, then the host’s meal with relatives, and the completion of the rite by giving dakṣiṇā.
