The Narration of the Trayodaśī Vow Observed Throughout the Twelve Months
गृहद्वारे बहिर्दद्याद्यमो मे प्रीयतामिति । एवं कृते तु विप्रेंद्र यमपीडा न जायते ॥ ४७ ॥
gṛhadvāre bahirdadyādyamo me prīyatāmiti | evaṃ kṛte tu vipreṃdra yamapīḍā na jāyate || 47 ||
Qu’on dépose une offrande à l’extérieur, près du seuil de la maison, en disant : « Que Yama soit satisfait de moi ». Ainsi accompli, ô le meilleur des brāhmaṇas, la torture de Yama ne se manifeste pas.
