Narada Purana — Purva Bhaga, Shloka 23

The Narration of the Trayodaśī Vow Observed Throughout the Twelve Months

पूजयित्वा जगन्नाथावुमामाहेश्वरी तनूः । हैम्यौ रौप्यौ च मृन्मप्यौ यथाशक्त्या विधाय च ॥ २३ ॥

pūjayitvā jagannāthāvumāmāheśvarī tanūḥ | haimyau raupyau ca mṛnmapyau yathāśaktyā vidhāya ca || 23 ||

Après avoir adoré Jagannātha, Seigneur de l’univers, qu’on adore aussi les formes d’Umā et de Maheśvara; et, selon ses moyens, qu’on les façonne en or, en argent, ou même en argile.
