Daśamī-vrata: Observances for the Bright Tenth Day Through the Twelve Months

इत्थं कृत्वा व्रतं विप्र भोगान्भुक्तैहिकाञ्छुभान् । युगं स्वर्गसुखं भुक्त्वा सार्वभौमो नृपो भवेत् ॥ ४७ ॥

itthaṃ kṛtvā vrataṃ vipra bhogānbhuktaihikāñchubhān | yugaṃ svargasukhaṃ bhuktvā sārvabhaumo nṛpo bhavet || 47 ||

Ô brāhmaṇa, celui qui accomplit ainsi le vœu jouit ici-bas de plaisirs propices; puis, après avoir goûté la félicité du ciel durant un yuga, il devient un roi souverain universel.
