The Exposition of the Saptamī Vow Observed Across Twelve Months
Saptamī-vrata-prakāśana
लभते सूर्यसायुज्यं विप्रेंद्रात्र न संशयः । श्रावणे शुक्लसप्तम्यामव्यंगाख्यं व्रतं शुभम् ॥ २९ ॥
labhate sūryasāyujyaṃ vipreṃdrātra na saṃśayaḥ | śrāvaṇe śuklasaptamyāmavyaṃgākhyaṃ vrataṃ śubham || 29 ||
Ô le meilleur des brāhmanes, il n’y a aucun doute que, par ce vœu propice nommé Avyaṅga-vrata, observé au septième jour de la quinzaine claire du mois de Śrāvaṇa, on obtient l’union (sāyujya) avec Sūrya, le Soleil.
