Ainsi, la femme qui accomplit ce vœu accroissant l’heureuse fortune obtient assurément, par la grâce de la Déesse, la félicité conjugale et la prospérité en ce monde.
Narada (instructing within a vrata-context; transmitted in the Narada Purana dialogue tradition)
Vrata: Saubhāgya-vardhana vrata (saubhāgyavarddhanam)
Primary Rasa: bhakti
Secondary Rasa: shanta
It teaches that disciplined observance of a prescribed vrata bears fruit primarily through devī-prasāda—divine grace—making the result (saubhāgya) steady and assured.
The verse centers the efficacy of the vow on the Goddess’s favor, implying that ritual action becomes fruitful when done with devotion and reliance on the deity’s compassionate grace.
It highlights Kalpa/ritual discipline in the form of vrata-vidhi (structured observance), emphasizing correct performance and devotional intent rather than a technical point of grammar or astrology.
