L’ayant offert au Seigneur par la seule dévotion, qu’il donne ensuite cette effigie à un brāhmaṇa. Ainsi accompli ce vœu, ô brāhmaṇa, il resplendit tel le Soleil lui-même, tout juste levé.

It teaches that a vow becomes spiritually potent when worship (samarpana) is completed with devotion and sealed with selfless giving (dāna), producing a luminous, purifying result likened to the Sun’s radiance.
Bhakti is presented as the essential inner force—“bhaktyaiva”—that sanctifies the ritual act; the devotee offers to the Lord and then relinquishes ownership by gifting the mūrti, expressing surrender rather than mere transaction.
Ritual procedure (kalpa-style vrata-vidhi) is implied: proper completion of an observance includes offering to the deity and prescribed dāna to a qualified dvija, reflecting traditional dharma-śāstra practice rather than grammar or astrology.
