FAQs

It highlights that specific devotional acts in pūjā—pañcāmṛta bathing, bell-ringing, flower offerings, and tulasī leaves—each generate distinct spiritual merit (puṇya) and are recognized as efficacious worship-components.

Bhakti is expressed through tangible, reverent services to the deity: abhiṣeka (ritual bathing), auspicious sound (ghaṇṭā-nāda), beautifying worship (puṣpārcana), and the especially cherished tulasī offering—showing devotion through loving acts rather than mere theory.

Ritual procedure and liturgical practice (connected with Kalpa/ācāra) is emphasized—how offerings like abhiṣeka, bell-ringing, and prescribed materials (flowers, tulasī) function as structured components of temple and home worship.
