प्रावृट्-शरत्-वर्णनम् — Description of the Monsoon and Autumn; Sarasvatī in the Pāṇḍavas’ Exile
अतकिक्रान्तास्तु वेगेन जगामानुसूत: शनै: ततो5मरवरप्रख्यो भीमसेनो महाबल:
Vaiśampāyana uvāca: atikrāntās tu vegena jagāma anusūtaḥ śanaiḥ; tato ’maravaraprakhyo bhīmaseno mahābalaḥ.
Vaiśampāyana dit : Les serpents, poussés par la peur au-delà de leurs forces, s’enfuirent à toute vitesse ; et Bhīmasena les suivit, avançant lentement mais sûrement. Alors ce Bhīmasena, puissant et rayonnant comme le premier des dieux, alla plus avant et vit un python colossal, si effroyable qu’il faisait se dresser les cheveux, demeurant dans un recoin de montagne difficile d’accès, son immense corps enroulé autour d’une vaste caverne.
