तेषामस्त्राणि दिव्यानि संहितानि महात्मनाम्‌ । वारयामास विधिवद्‌ दिव्यैरस्त्रैमहामृथे,उन्होंने उस महासमरमें विधिपूर्वक दिव्यास्त्रोंका प्रयोग करके उन महामनस्वी वीरोंके छोड़े हुए दिव्य अस्त्रोंका निवारण कर दिया

Transliteration

teṣām astrāṇi divyāni saṁhitāni mahātmanām | vārayāmāsa vidhivad divyair astrair mahāmṛdhe ||

Translation

Sañjaya dit : Dans cette grande bataille, il neutralisa comme il se doit les traits célestes lancés par ces guerriers à l’âme magnanime, en recourant à des armes divines selon la règle et le rite. La scène rappelle qu’au cœur même du carnage, la maîtrise ne se mesure pas seulement à la puissance, mais à l’usage discipliné et légitime de la force.
