Śalya–Bhīma Gadāyuddham (मद्रराज-भीमसेन गदायुद्धम्)
युद्ध योधवरौ लोके सौमदत्तिशिखण्डिनौ । भूतानां त्रासजननं चक्राते5स्त्रविशारदौ,भूरिश्रवा और शिखण्डी--ये दोनों संसारके श्रेष्ठ योद्धा और अस्त्रविद्याके विशेषज्ञ थे। उन दोनोंने सम्पूर्ण भूतोंको त्रास देनेवाला युद्ध किया
yuddhaṃ yodhavarau loke saumadattiśikhaṇḍinau | bhūtānāṃ trāsajananaṃ cakrāte 'straviśāradau ||
Sañjaya dit : Dans cette bataille, Bhūriśravas, fils de Somadatta, et Śikhaṇḍin—tous deux renommés comme les plus grands guerriers du monde et maîtres des armes—s’engagèrent dans un duel si terrible qu’il inspira l’effroi à tous les êtres.
