व्यपोहनस्तवनिरूपण-प्रसङ्गे नक्तभोजन-शिवव्रतविधिः (वार्षिक-प्रतिमास-क्रमः)

ब्राह्मणान् भोजयित्वा च श्रोत्रियान् वेदपारगान् श्वेताग्रपादं पौण्ड्रं च दद्याद्गोमिथुनं पुनः

Transliteration

brāhmaṇān bhojayitvā ca śrotriyān vedapāragān śvetāgrapādaṃ pauṇḍraṃ ca dadyādgomithunaṃ punaḥ

Translation

Après avoir nourri des brāhmaṇas—des śrotriyas savants, parvenus au terme des Veda—qu’on offre encore une paire de vaches : l’une de race Pauṇḍra, l’autre marquée par des extrémités de pattes blanches. Un tel dāna, accompli dans l’esprit de Śiva-sevā, desserre le pāśa du paśu par la grâce de Pati, le Seigneur Mahādeva.
